TRIPS - Specification Changes

Occasionally, during the production and inspection process, we decide to alter a specification based on the most current safety or property practices. These changes are considered to be in the best interest of all parties and generally apply to all models and contracts. The changes are listed below.

1. It was brought to our attention that several agency's were shutting their vehicles off with the emergency switch located in the driver's door stepwell. This in turn creates problems with the ignition circuitry on some models. To alleviate this problem, the emergency "kill" switch, which shuts off all power to the vehicle, will be moved to the battery compartment.

2. Because of this move, and because local fire departments need timely and unrestricted access to the switch, we will no longer offer a locking battery compartment door.

3. Electrically operated passenger doors are now standard. Manually operated passenger doors are not an option.
